In August of 2006 Bruce Robertson was a guest on CNN’s Nancy Grace. The topic was the murder of preacher Matthew Winkler by his wife Mary in Selmer, Tennessee. Mary Winkler allegedly shot her husband as he lay sleeping in their bed and the packed their three young children in the family mini-van and headed to a beach in Alabama several hundred miles away. Robertson was questioned about the murder weapon that was used and the amount of damage that would be inflicted by a 12 gauge shotgun blast at short range.
